My Horror Reading Fest

Rate this Entry
September is almost over, and I eagerly await October, because I am already in Halloween mode.

So here is my annual list of October/Halloween reading:

Glimmering by Elizabeth Hand

The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro - I loved his movie Pan's Labyrinth and when I first heard him talking about this book on the Daily Show I was super excited about it, and now of course I am into the TV series.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner - Not scary exactly but dystopic, and the movie coming out has me motivated to want to read the book

Horns by Joe Hill - A new voice in horror, I am always interested in exploring new horror authors. My sister recommended this book/author to me, and I trust her opinion when it comes to books.

Best New Horror - An anthology of short horror stories. I probably will not get through them all. It is a pretty fat book, but I will see how many I can get read in the month.

The Walking Dead Vol. 2

Wagner the Werewolf by Geroge W.M. Reynolds

Someone has their hands full this month. I've never actually read any horror novels or stories, but I do get pretty frightened reading history books.

    Anyway, enjoy your reading!
