You may ask what is a "designer" dog (as the media has labeled them) it is a cross between two purebred dogs.

Yes, I know I haven't been around much lately...working a full time job and part time at the Dog Park has stolen all my free hours away...but I thought I would share this.

The image is of Scout who is a Chiweenie, a Designer Breed; a cross between a Chihuahua and the Dachshund. He is sooo cute!

    There are a ton of Designer Dogs out there....do you know of any?

    Not specifically. I know they mix breed with poodles so that the designer breed won't shed, such as Labradoodles or Golden Doodles. We've considered getting one. I haven't seen any though.

    Virgil - the doodles seem to be pretty even tempered and playful. Make sure you have time for one!
