day in a life

The weekend is at hand and here on the ice this is the biggest travel weekend of the year. There are festivals all over the country and teenagers hoping to be drunk 'till Monday. I have never left my home town on this weekend, I don't like people enough to go out seeking them.

My son will be with his dad so I'll be alone, my mom is going to her cabin and both my brothers are leaving town too so I'll be very much alone. I am kinda looking forward to it. My oldest brother seems to have finally broken up with his girlfriend, she is crazy so it's about time. The biggest problem is though that he still wants to be in a choir that she is in too and she has had some crazy episodes since he told her he wanted out and I think he should leave the choir cause she will most definitely do this again. People do odd things.

In one month school will start up again and in 20 days my son will start school. I am looking forward to buying books. I took my son to school the other day, I was meeting friends there and he thought it was amazing 'there is a bookstore inside your school!!'

We are reading the little prince now and loving it, he loves it when I read for him. I try to choose 'good' books in between the Disney crap he gets. The other day we read a Disney book about Winnie the Pooh and the book was about how everybody was tired of Tigger and him jumping them all the time so they decided to take him deep into the wood so he would get lost and wouldn't be home for a while and would be tired when he finally got home. That ain't nice!!!

Well life is a complicated thing but we all gotta do it.
