Halls of the Dark Muse

Need I say more? I think the title says it all.

A woman who my mom knows through work had these kittens she was looking to get rid of, and well whenever animals are being given away my mom always comes to me. And who is going to say no to a kitten? Of course I wanted one. So she told the woman I was interested and I just got the new kitten last night.

I call him Strega, which means witch in Italian. He is a very mellow and mild mannered little guy, in fact his temperament is a lot like my old cat Zeo. I was quite surprised as I had thought at first being in a new place and away from his siblings that he would cry a lot, but he is pretty quiet, and seems quite content and easily adaptable. He is not skittish, and when I go out to see him he likes to follow me around everywhere. He likes rolling around on top of my feet and trying to climb up my legs.

Because he originally came from an apartment, when I took him out this morning in the yard to get used to being outside, and his new surroundings at first he was rather suspicious of the grass.

I have some pictures I wanted to share but I am having trouble getting them to upload. Every method I have tried has failed, but I will see if I can figure it out.
