Rise of the Scrabble Demons

For the past two days we've been playing Scrabble. I've never actually played grown up scrabble before. I had Junior Scrabble when I was little. Quite a few years ago (when my now dead uncle and his wife used to live nearby) they gave me scrabble one Christmas. But I never played it. The box was left in the spare room until now. It's not that I've never wanted to play Scrabble. It's just that I've had no one to play with. I've been thinking of playing it for a while but I had to find the game. I went looking for it yesterday and found it pretty quickly.
Mum's job problem has been helpful for a little bonding between us at least. We haven't told Napoleon about it. We want to wait and see what happens. I know absolutely everything he'll say if we do tell him. I don't want to hear it.
She has a friend of two with influence at work who want to be there on Tuesday but she won't be going back to what she was doing on Monday. She'll either need a new position that will probably be in another office or have to look for a new job. Aside from the money work just doesn't seem worth it.
Anyway. We've been playing Scrabble. She seems to beat me more than I'd like. I have the better vocabulary too. However, Scrabble is mainly down to luck. What letters you draw. It's surprisingly fun.
I have nothing else to say.
Bluebiird out.
