2. THE CREATION OF WOMAN.


God separated Spirit from himself,
Fashioned it into Beauty and showered upon

All blessings of gracefulness and kindness
And gave the cup of Happiness and said:

"Drink not from this cup unless you forget past
And future, happiness but this moment."

He also gave a cup of Sorrow and said:
"Drink from this cup and you will understand

The meaning of the fleeting instants of
The joy of Life, for Sorrow ever abounds."
