Mystery Window

It is probably no surprise, considering we all know how I feel about the weather that I sleep better when it is cold, in fact on windy nights I usually always open up my bedroom window because I love the feel of the cold air as I am going to sleep but for the past few days or so I have not been feeling very well. I am just starting to get more back to normal today.
So on Friday night I was getting ready to go to bed, and it was a windy night out but since I knew that I was coming down with something I deiced not to open my window that night, so I made a conscious effort of noting that my window was in fact closed as I was first getting ready to go to sleep.
At some point during the night I get up to go to the bathroom and I come back into my room, and my window is partially opened, and to say the least I know I did not open at any point, and I know it was closed when I first went to bed.
The way my window is, even if by chance I simply had not noticed that my window was open when I first went to bed (even though I checked it, and should have felt the cold air if it was open) I would hear it, my window rattles like nobody's business in the wind, and it was a pretty strong wind on Friday night, so even if in the semi-darkness of my room, it looked closed but really wasn't, I would have heard it instantly.
Also the way my windows are, when they are in the closed position they cannot be opened from the outside, in addition there is a screen in front of the window, so the screen would have to be removed before they could even try to open the window, so it could not have been an attempted intruder outside who then just got scared off by a sound or something who opened the window and then took off. The window can only be opened on the inside and there was no one else in the house who would have opened the window.
