no rant, but there is something else

I came as close to having a heart attack today as a twenty year old can get. I am mucking stalls at the stables I worked at around four years ago for the next month-ish I'm still in town. It is a little more cheerful than the last time, due to the fact that my boss/bosses don't have kidney cancer and my coworkers (yes, I have more than one this time!) all speak english as their first language.
Shelby is the first coworker I met last week. She's doing pre-vet at CSU. Another girl that I met just today is still in high school, but knows wtf she's doing and doesn't need any help with anything. The last girl has been there all week, but today was the first time I saw her up close.

She could be Allison's long lost twin. Damn near identical. I caught myself in time to not start asking stupid questions.
But for that split second, my heart seriously stopped beating.

I've always heard that there is at least one person in the world who is a dead wringer for you, but of all the luck for you to find that one. Take care of yourself.

Maybe she can be a good replacement - Allison with the negative traits. (Only kidding Skib )

Meg- I'm doing my damndest to! That whole fiasco got (relatively) taken care of. Much as I still miss her, things worked out as well as they could have under the circumstances.

Virgil- huh? I'd ask you to explain but that would defeat the whole purpose of your comment. No worries. If she were single I would seriously consider it.

Oops, now I see what you mean. There was a typo there. I meant to say: Allison without the negative traits. I'm such a sloppy typist. Sorry Skib.

Virgil, what in the world are we going to do with you?

I know. My wife says that every day.

Glad to hear it :) Sometimes I think we're only missing the "idea" of someone. We don't miss who they really are, but rather we miss who we thought they are. I've been there a number of times, and it all seems to hurt just the same.
