Nice choice of pics. That's quite a contrast in subjects in the paintings you've chosen, from the violent to the calm and contemplative. I hadn't seen that Manet of the Spanish guitar player before. The way his espadrilles are laced almost makes them look like modern nikes. I think Brueghel's "Fall of Icarus" has to be my favorite from that group. It's a perpetually fascinating image.
