  1. That is ridiculous! I guess it makes sense though, I spent $1200+ each for college classes. I'll see if I can find the name of the program that I was talking about. I'm in Ohio, so I know the programs may be different, but maybe it is a nationwide thing. I think any online courses will require motivation, but the ones I'm thinking of even have the occasional field trip and such. Either way, if I remember/find the program I'll let you know
  2. Those classes are like $400 a piece! It's ridiculous, but I just talked to his...I don't know what her title is, he has an IEP because he is, 'other health impaired' and it's the woman that coordinates his IEP, and she said if we had a doctor's note stating that he can not be in class, there would be some options for him so I'm thinking maybe we'd be able to do the online thing. He's not terribly motivated, those online classes he took last summer and this last semester have taken him forever but I'm hoping these will be organized a little better and he'll be more motivated if he knows he needs to finish them to graduate. Thank you for the good wishes, we can use all of them we can get.
  3. Once again, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that online high school was so expensive. We actually have state or school district sponsored financial aid here for children with health issues that require them to be students who use the online schooling. I hope that your son is feeling better soon
