Now it's not just the internet - my computer is also prone to frequent heart attacks. But it sounds like you're busy and hopefully getting some enjoyment out of some of the things crowding your plate! Take care!
Don't worry about it... I'm not noticing too much, to tell you the truth. I am totally obsessed with my studies, my chores, job hunting, trying to prove my existence, joining a church, doing summaries....I don't have time to feel ignored. But it was nice for you to drop by and explain.
Don't think I'm ignoring you. My internet isn't working, so I have to do stuff at the library when I get a chance.
Oh no! you didn't "bum me out" at all. Your messages were thought-provoking, but I'm afraid I'm still rather busy and will have to wait a little longer to reply. I'm thinking of you.
Sorry for all the messages--but the message was too long to send in one letter. I hope I didn't bum you out. Your comment brought up the earlier discussion--and it just all came out. I feel better. I hope I didn't make you feel worse.
Sending a random hello and hug! Hope you and your mom are well!
I'm glad you're enjoying doing that stuff for the Facebook page. It's great that you're contributing so much. I have a lot of random articles and pictures if you'd like me to send you some. (Or maybe it would be easier if I just posted some things myself.) Crazy fan-girl, eh? I don't know a thing about video games, but I assume this one is based on ancient Rome? Interesting. Oh, and maybe you'll want to come by the ELE forum for a movie night we're planning.
Hi, Sarah! Sending a random hello! I'm being reintroduced to Emma Thompson now that I'm finding pictures and video clips for the Facebook page. It is interesting, though I guess most of it is an old hat to all of you. Haven't returned to the forum just yet. I'm still involved with Facebook, V, Twitter...and now, Cradle of Rome--a very addictive PC game. It is very much like Bejeweled, but you earn points to buy things for your city--and you progress from peasant to emperor. It is pretty simple compared to video games as far as design, but it is challenging.
Thank you so much for all the explanations! I was partly kidding, but it's nice to know that my cousin's weird "friend" won't see me and try to contact me because he actually sees me more often than he sees my cousin. (If that makes any sense, lol.) And I'll definitely be careful to avoid the type of situation you described. Very little could make some of my in-the-flesh-friends raise their eyebrows.
If you do befriend someone on Facebook, though, realize that all your posts are going to show up on their News Feed. This can be embarrassing, which I found out with my YouTube account. I had favorited a video to show my mom because it showed something I didn't realize was actually made--and favoriting allows you to find something quickly. However, then it notified everyone who is my friend, "JLG likes Robospanker." Rather awkward since one of my friends is a 15 year old boy. So rule of thumb, don't ever say anything, like anything, join anything you aren't comfortable letting the whole world know you like...or else do it under a different identity.
