Dear lady, how are you these days? I feel so old yet I'm hitting 29 this Nov... wait... I 'am' getting old =P Been awhile, had pressing matters to attend to and ended up disappearing again from the site =X I'm so bad to keep still in one place. Hey Monamy, I am fine, thank you. I know exactly what you mean. I, too, have had that same feeling. Firefangled took care of it in the end, almost single-handedly ( well-remember your valiant efforts in our behalf, and others, too). I am glad you haven't given up on this place completely. School has started, so I am busy teaching again. I miss summer. It is fall here, and beginning to be cool again. I am managing to fit a little bit of writing in. What have you been up to in the interim? It's good to see you again. Oh, it was 'steal an avatar weekend,' I believe. Everyone had permission to steal an avatar that they particularly liked. Being technologically challenged, I was unable to partake of that particular pleasure, however.

Don't worry about the thread theft stuff, part of it was honestly because I experienced such bizarre cases and I hate to see it happen again. Yeah, I'm bilingual and would love to be trilingual someday--working on Japanese as a third. Tried Spanish and French, and - although I like how both sound lol - I failed... epically >.>; (don't tell anyone...) Mon ami? Yeah, I remember it meaning something like that too when I studied French a little. But that's another something unintended; I began using Monamy as my screen name since I was 15, when I used to own a small kitten. I was trying Diablo, an online game, and stopped in my character creation when it came to the name, and my kitten jumped on the keyboard (mesmerized I guess by the movements of my fingers.) I picked it up and had a look at the screen, it typed 'Moonnnamyy' as I remember lol. Reading the invented word in my head, I liked how it sounds, so I just deleted the extra letters and began using it ever since (I ended up naming the kitten Mon afterward.) Oh... about the poem, by all means, feel free. I don't mind ^_^

I am trying to learn French; it is a long-time dream of mine to learn another language. I can read a little bit in Spanish. I don't know where your user name comes from, but it reminds me of French: mon ami, which means 'my friend' in French.
