Happy belated anniversary, Lynne. I hope your trip was fantastic. Yes, Janine is a terrific artist. Her art work is so delicate and detailed, I think. Take heart. It'll get warm and stay warm soon. It's the second half of April!
Hi Miss Scarlet, Hope you had a nice Easter vacation. Sorry I didn't respond to your message, but my husband and I were in Las Vegas for our anniversary. We had a lovely time. Hard to come back and go back to work, especially since it was 70 degrees there, and I came back to damp, rainy 40 degree weather. Janine helped me with my profile page. I'm sure glad I have an artist for a friend AND she lives close.
Happy Easter weekend to you, Lynne!
How's your day going? Well, I hope. Janine really did find a beautiful spring background, didn't she? I love those lilacs, and I love yours, too. Green is so restful.
I probably have way too much time on my hands, and I do draw directly on the computer, so I'm at the computer a lot of the time. The Japanese LOVE tee-shirts with anime characters on them. And of course, the love "Hello, Kitty," too. But "Lil Diva" is going to take care of that. When my shirt comes out, it'll be, "Goodbye Hello Kitty," "Welcome Lil Diva!" Just joking. There's room for everyone in design. Everyone likes something a little different.
You are amazing! You just registered and already you have 246 posts. Very impressive. I love your T-shirt designs. Have you ever heard of alternativeoutfitters.com? I found the website in an anime magazine, called Shojo Beat, of all places! One of my jobs at the library is cataloging magazines and that one came in today. I thought, let me see what all the excitement over anime is. Well, one of the ads were for T-shirts and your designs came to mind. Learn something new everyday.
Oh, I'm sure you don't offend anyone by using a Kindle, Lynne. Enjoy it! They are great for traveling. That's what I'd want one for. For home, I'd still use "regular" books, but I do hate lugging them around. LOL
I hope I don't offend anyone's sensibilities by using a Kindle. I do love the feel of a real book in my hand, but I'm finding the Kindle fun for a change AND great for traveling. You can even download magazines and blogs. I'm able to download The Awakening for 99 cents. What a bargain! Thanks for your message.
Watch it, lady! I want that Kindle! LOL Joking. Enjoy!
Hi Lynne! Thanks for the friend request. I'm looking forward to getting to know you. I already think Janine and I have a lot in common, so I think you and I will, too. Have a beautiful day.
