  1. Yeah, def you should post "Rimbaud's leg" and let me know, you know how much I enjoy your poems
  2. You know I wrote a poem that I called "Rimbaud's Leg." I'll have to get it out and see if it's any good. If it is I'll run it past you.
  3. Hey, I added a few poems to my blog if you care to look.

    How's life?
  4. thanks qimi for the lovely surprise
i hope you have a great valentines day as well
  5. as for the theater, well I used to take drama lessons and did couple of plays but I quit this year, I wanted to focus on other things
here's the wikipedia article on macedonia, there are some pictures too

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Macedonia

and I've never though of persuing acting, at least for a long time, though I do have many thing I want to do but right now I am more focusing on my writing and drawing, also I am starting my own radio show from 20 january and with college and learning languages I don't have much time

I saw you're an english teacher, that's cool, I hope you're a good one, here all the teachers seem to have lost the passion to teach, or the passion for the subject for that matter, they seem to come for the paycheck
so, do you teach grade, high school english or...?

also I wanted to ask you, you said you want to travel, where have you been so far?

like I said, a long one

    best of luck
    Monika
    (that's my real name )
  6. ok, this will be a long one, so prepare

I live in Shtip, that's a well not the biggest city in Macedonia but it's one of the bigger. The culture here in macedonia? well.... you finish school and then go to college, most live with their parents like me, since I am in a local college, you have 2-3 universities and one of them is in Shtip, the other one is in the capital the biggest one and there's another one, I think. then you get a job and work till the rest of your life. as for the traditions, we have few wedding traditions, and the others are mostly kept by the elders, young people today don't do any of that, like going to monastery and they have feast there for some holidays and there's folklore music, we celebrate christmas on 7 january. if there's anything else you are interested in, just ask
  7. By the way, where in Macedonia do you live? Thanks for putting up with all the questions. I would love to travel, but since I'm not going to get to do that for awhile due to money issues, this is the next best thing I have to it!
  8. Hi Rimbaud! I don't know how much culture we have here (actually I meant how people live, customs, etc) but having looked at your album, I'm guessing you are interested in theater. I've listed some web sites that will give you a small indication of the theater scene here in Dallas. I don't take advantage of it, which is a shame. I included a review of a play that is currently on Broadway because it's set in Oklahoma, my home state. Finally, you'll find two web sites about artists in the Dallas area. I don't know how great they are, but they are here and they are painting, or something. I hope you enjoy. I had a lot of fun putting this very small "exhibition" together!

Do you act or write for your local theater? Or are you taking acting classes while in college? Do you wish to pursue it afterward? Just think, you might be the one to enrich Macedonia's cultural horizons!
