Thanks a lot for the information. It is really interesting to hear of so many different education systems. I intend to learn as much as I can. As I tried to say in my thread, I'm not claiming that one system of education in a country is better than another country. I just want to know as much as I can, and if there is a better way, I want to see it. Thanks again.
Hi Kid. I thought your thread on Education was interesting. We use HECS in Australia, here is a link. It pretty much means the govt pays the bill and once you earn over a certain threshold, you pay the debt through your tax but you can make contributions as well and pay as you go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tertiar...s_in_Australia. I owe $8000 for my sociology degree. We're similar to Canada & UK in terms of healthcare because its free through medicare. I hope this helps.
