Hi, I thought it was OK and had some good moments throughout, not totally into it though.
Thanks for the tip, Neely! I'll add it to the list. I watched A Serious Man myself last night, for the first time in a long while. What did you think of it?
Hi, I've been meaning to pass on a film you might like called The Squid and the Whale. Stick it on your "to watch" list if you have not seen it. I really enjoyed it anyway, definitely my favourite film I've seen this year. I've watched it twice already.
(Currently watching A Serious Man which is what jogged my memory.)
I think it starts on a Saturday and is nearly everyday of the week. The last one was 5 days a week so maybe this is the same? If so, there goes your week!
Dang, there go my Saturday nights. Thanks for the heads-up, I probably wouldn't have noticed!
Hi, heads up on the next season of The Killing. It starts this Saturday.
All the best, Neely.
Yes the Scandianavian bug seems to be biting. Yes definitely, I mean the original of wallander - though to be honest I've never heard of it before, just if it was put in the same sentence as The Killing then I'm interested see?
I'm glad to see that the Scandinavian obsession is catching! By the by, in terms of Wallander I assume you mean the Swedish version, and not the much less interesting Kenneth Brannagh vehicle?
Oh yes, I'm climbing up the walls here. I'm going to go and read that Independent People I bought today and see if that takes the pain away for a while. I might have a look at Wallander as well then.
I'm glad you're enjoying 'The Killing'! When it last aired, I only found out about it quite late on, and only managed to watch the first few episodes before the iPlayer pulled it. It is, as you say, addictive viewing - before I found out they were repeating it, I was eyeing the DVD boxset on Amazon and hoping the price would drop soon!
