  1. Oh, I love the tree. Thank you Virgil! I hope you and your lovely family have a sweet holiday as well. I'm sure you will.
  2. I want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.

  3. Happy Birthday, Virgil. I hope you are feeling better!
  4. Yes, it did, thanks very much. Not that I needed to know, really. Earlier in the year someone asked why I hadn't voted for the "best Jane Austen hero" and I wondered how they knew I hadn't. I ended up, guiltily, voting for their favorite, instead of mine. Lame I know, but there it is.
  5. Qimi, some polls are public where you can see who voted for what and some are not. It usually says on top of the poll. Those that are public the votes are hyperlinked (if that's the right term). All you have to do is click the number and the votes will come up. Here is the Autumn contest: http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=47225. Click on a number of a vote cast and you'll see. Hope that helped.
  6. Virgil, a question: how do you know who voted for whom in the poetry contest? Did they tell you?
  7. Read this, see if it helps. If your interested I can extend the contest for a few more days. I would love it if you tried.

  8. Oh, are you referring to the "bop"? I'm confused. How does it work?
  9. Hey Virgil, why don't you give one of these a try?

  10. Hey Mr. Runner-Up! You didn't do such a shabby job yourself! Excellent poem. I felt fall all around me with yours, the crunchy leaves, that poignant feeling welling up in my chest. Well done, my friend!
