Oh I saw on the news tonight the Austrailian forest fires and that 35 have ost their lives. I hope you and your famu=ily are safe, and I wish you the best.
Lets hope it is good blood . One of my friends has recieved blood twice already, so it's good to know one day I could be saving someone I know. Oh my goodness it doesn't even get that cold here in winter!! Perhaps once or twice through the season, but not all that often! Nights in winter tend to be about 41 F, but the days are normally about 59 F! Of course it's a lot colder on the east coast where it snows. It's still hot and muggy here today, and as people joke, "Oh it's a cool one today, 30 instead of 39!" which for you would be about 86 and 102 . Ohhh it's Australia Day tomorrow . It's predicted to be about 80 F here, so it'll be quite warm, and of course add on all the people and activity . But I'll be with friends so it should be a good day
They are going to take your blood. I guess Sprinksy blood is good blood. Oh I would trade hot for cold any time. We did have a nice day today. It was around 8C today. But supposed to get below zero again.
Thanks for stopping by, Virg . There have been some really cloudy days lately, which is strange, but apart from that the weather is still hot . I might be going to the beach on the weekend some time, or on Monday, which is Australia Day! Oh and my friend asked me to give blood with her next time she goes, so I've registered, and if all goes well, I'll be giving blood in March!
Hey Sprinksy. Just thought I'd stop by and say hi. Still going to the beach? I wish I could dump this winter over here.
Aww thanks . Lovely video . I hope the new year is going well for you so far
Happy New Year Sprinksy. I leave you with a present: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=eG3afAIi6IQ. Now I'm not sure I like the back beat they put to it, but the video is fabulous.
I was sitting outside staring up at the stars . Then all you could hear was people yelling out "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" (although by my clock they were a minute early ) and fireworks going off, although some genius let off a flare . It's not much different, although I did freak out a little when I saw the date on my computer was 2009. I guess that's when I really realised that it's a new year
Was the stroke of midnight exciting ? And what's it like in the New Year? Any different?
It's very nearly almost 1 am on the 1st of January, 2009, here now
