Just got home like an hour ago. So tired!! One girl fell asleep at about 2am, another 2 at 4am, then me and another didn't fall asleep til after 5am. Am attempting to get photos sorted
Oh that sounds nice Well the after party I'm attending, I think there's about 10-15 of us there, it's not going to be too "rowdy" I would imagine. Although I was rather hoping to beat my friend's record from last year (he got home at about 5am and collapsed, still in his tux, at the bottom of his stairs ). How are you?
Nice! I'm glad all the limo stuff worked out with me, although I think one friend is a little upset that I'm not going with her! Ours goes for about 5 hours. And that's a wise decision! Hmm.. after parties? Our school is dreading them. If someone screws up, well the school is still young and can easily gain a really bad reputation. So I'm not going to one of the general after parties where everyone plans on getting drunk and sleeping with everyone; 5 of my friends and I are staying at one of our houses for the night, then we're going out for breakfast the next morning
(Ohhh pants... I did actually send a reply but then my computer decided to throw a wobbly.) Anyway, yes I am very glad we don't bother with the whole dating thing; sounds like quite the ordeal, haha. As for limo's? I'm getting there in my Dad's Renault Megane How long does your ball last for? Mine is only... 3 hours I think, which is why I'm not bothering spending a fortune on the dress. I'm very much looking forward to the after party though; will you be attending one?
Yes I think for ball/prom things, a long dress is nicer, personally I wish that our school was like that! So many people automatically started looking for dates before dresses! I didn't mind if I didn't end up with anyone because I plan on spending time with everyone anywho; but then all our etiquette lessons focused on how the male must do everything for the female, as the female cannot get out of the car until the male has opened the door and taken her hand - so no parter = unable to get out of car . I know that's not quite how it works, but we did get a lot of pressure on us to find someone to go with. There's only about 74 students in Year 12, and yet theres some 150 people going to the ball! There are so many teachers and outside partners and other people coming that it's going to be massive!
Haha! Sock tan.. aww. Aah, I see. Well, as you said, I'm sure it'll be fine and quite fun. Oh wow that sounds lovely I think I want a maxi-dress type thing myself... Nobody really bothers with dates for the prom here, but the girls go absolutely insane with dresses, spray tans, hair, and limos. It's just mad.
The main thing I don't like about summer is that it's when we start school and so I end up with this major sock tan . Well we've known each other 6 years and he has asked me out in the past, although it was over msn and I never said yes but he thought I did and became all clingy and I freaked out. We have never spoken about it since and I'm basically putting too much effort into pushing him away so that he doesn't try anything during the night! But I know it'll all be fine, I'm just being overly cautious but if I'm too much more cautious he'll not even talk to me! I had this conversation with him along the lines of "I didn't know I'd be in so many cars!" (we're going up in one, coming back in another) "Yeah well, you asked me!" "That was before you went all crazy." So now I have to make him realize I'm not that crazy! Well you see the purple and yellow on my page? It's pretty much those colours! It's almost floor length (without the shoes!) and yellow, with purple ribbon around the top (it's strapless) and purple frill down the bottom, and it does up with purple ribbon at the back.
