It wasn't any kind of defense of me. If anything, it's helpful for people to know when they are engaging me in conversation. You asked about me. That's the answer I have. It isn't a self-designation. It's not at all like African Americans defending themselves against racism, or trying to take power away from a word that was used to brand them. I'm so baffled as to why you would say that. It was nice to meet you. I'm not interested in private message conversations. If you are ever unprepared to have questions answered, perhaps it would be wise not to pose them in the first place.
Thanks for your latest post (in my profile). I too "believe" in or honour words, and am currently reading a novel where the words appear to have been written with the author's skin: "Larry's Party" by Carol Shields.
Thank you. It's very nice to hear that. A person who values words likes to know that their words have had an impact. I'm just a moment in time. I'm very small, but part of something big and mysterious. We're all pretty lucky that way. It's nice to linger for a while in memories here and there.
"Just a girl" doesn't do justice to your independent mind & your readiness to speak out.
Hi there. I put a lot of stuff about me into my posts, so my statistics might be a good place to learn about me. I'm an artist, a sculptor, and a narcissistic introvert. Beyond that, I'm just a girl.
Hi, Varenne. I was intrigued by your responses to SaraDrago's latest poems. There isn't a heck of a lot about you here. How about PMing me something about who you are and what excites or annoys you? Jerry
