I want you to know that I love this site and the way that it enables us to interact with other people in an intelligent, organized fashion. Thus I want you to realize the necessity of a current politics forum. It could be kept civil by you or me or others if they feel that a particular thread is getting out of line. This should be done with comments and explanations, not the blind closing of threads as seen in 'politics revisited...' in the serious discussions catagory.
