Conversation Between Paulclem and Virgil

  1. Hey there. We haven't spoken in a while. Thought I'd stop by and see if you still come to Lit Net. Hope things are well.
  2. He's doing great Paul. I've been very busy myself between work and Matthew. I have at least one blog you might have missed on Matthew. Just go through my blog list. That sounds wonderful for your son and daughter. It should be quite an experience for him. I have a work acquaintance who's daughter got to spend a year in Japan for school. I can't remember what she was taking up. But my friend said it was a very good experience for her. Hope you have a great 2012.
  3. Hi Virgil,

Thanks for the contact. How's the lad doing

I've been a bit busy this side of the summer. I've got new responsibilities at work and I'm into the course I'm taking in maths. It has taken me offline for a lot of the time.

My two are doing well. My son has just completed his winter term of year two. He'll be going to japan this summer for 9 months as part of his Japanese course. My daughter is clever and doing well with her exams. She's just been to Japan on an exchange visit, and really enjoyed it.

I hope you had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours,

    Paul
  4. Merry Christmas Paul. We haven't spoken in a while. I hope you have a special holiday.

Here's a present and a card for you.

  5. Yes. I'm going to put a blog out on this. Thank you for your concern. We're not in the sections being evacuated.
  6. Hi Virgil,

I noticed in the Times today that parts of Staten Island are being evacuated because of the storm Irene.

    I hope everything goes well,

    Paul

  8. Oh don't be so insecure Paul. Everyone can read poetry. Quark seems like he can't have someone disagree with him. He over intellectualizes. Actually your observations about the suggestion of death and Christ as carpenter were outstanding.
  9. Hi Virgil - I didn't realise anyone would look at my blog so quickly. I've not expored the blog part of litnet yet. I will. I know that you've been keeping one which I will look forward to reading.

I'm enjoying the poetry on Leopardi. It's great to discuss though there are some smart people about - yourself included - so I've started putting the "just musing" disclaimer on the end of my posts. It's a get out clause.

    Paul
  10. I saw you voted in the Autumn Poetry contest. If you get a chance, I would like your thoughts to my poem in the contest. I opened it for discussion in my blog here: http://www.online-literature.com/forums/blog.php?b=9173
