That sounds wonderful PIB. Florence is possibly the best city in the world. I loved it myself. If you go back, try to go to Venice as well. That's the most beautiful city in the world hands down.
Fatherhood is surely a fulltime job leaving little time for LitNet and other fun diversions. I know you and your wife are enjoying it. Two of my son are approaching adulthood (eldest is 16, younger is 14) leaving me with only my daughter at home many days. You’ll find that each season of parenthood from toddler years to adulthood bring interesting challenges and joys. We spent two weeks traveling through half of Italy and spent a few days in France. Italy was incredible! For most of our visit we used Florence as our “home base”. We spent a few days in Laverno enjoying the Mediterranean Sea, drove to Assissi and Cascia, spent a few days in Pissa, and visited Milan. Next time we hope to visit Rome and the surrounding areas. PIB!! We are great. Matthew just turned two years old. Have you gone through some of my blogs to see pictures and stories of my fatherhood? I think you would enjoy them. Your summer sounds fantastic! I love Italy. I'm of Italian ethnicity by the way. Where in Italy did you go? I would love to hear about that. Looking forward to seeing you around here. I must say that I don't spend that much time here any more. I keep a blog here and stop by once a week. Just not enough time now.
Hey, Virg! I just wanted to check in to see how you and your lovely fam are doing. My husband and I spent the summer traveling through Europe spending most of our time in Italy (we just loved it there). My schedule is evening out a bit, so I hope to spend more time here on Lit Net.
