  1. Yes, girls are more mature at your age. Just be careful and do well in school. That will serve you better in life. Once out of school then life really opens up and all sorts of possibilities will present themself to you.
  2. I understand your concerns . Luckily the groups that I associate with more have the same views on drugs and things as I do. Yesterday we had some family friends over and we were talking about people I know and how things are going with me and school etc. and mum mentioned a male friend of mine... and I said something about how right now I'm not entirely friends with him and I'm not happy with things he's done, and she asked why not and I said something about how I'm not happy with many of my male friends right now so once again she asked why, and I responded with something like "Because all year 11 guys are jerks!" We all laughed and mum said "Finally!" and my dad came and hugged me and said something like "Thank you for finally realising that" . Of course I do have some decent male friends that are my age, and my parents are happy with me being friends with them.... it's just the other idiots that I think I'll keep my distance from, until they grow up
  3. Thank you Sprinksy. I meant it in the interest of helping you through life. Now don't get me wrong. People should help their friends who have drug problems. But adults can do it. While I can tell you are really mature for your age, I still worry about you getting caught up into something beyond your control. Afterall, you're still only 16. I'm sorry for saying that but it's true. When you're older you'll see. One other thing, I forgot to comment on that jerk who simulated what he did. Next time some guy does something you don't want, you yell and tell him to stop and push away. Girls can be taken advatage of and be more submissive by nature. You have to overcome that passivity when someone is doing something unwarrented.
  4. Of course not! Another thing I firmly believe in is that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I don't really get my some of my friends, the drug taking ones. Like one girl... she is always going on about an apprenticeship she is getting, and how she has to pass the drug and alcohol test... Now, this girl gets drunk almost every night, and by drunk, I mean DRUNK. So she plans to not drink for 2 days before the test, and has stopped drugs, but she is still always going on about her drug taking and her drinking. I still can't figure out whats going on with her. Most of my friends that do drugs do it because "it's a social thing" and they do it because their friends/siblings do it. I don't know. It's all weird and I don't agree with any of it. Just so it's easier, I'll answer your comment on my blog here, they mostly smoke pot (or whatever else you want to call it). Although some have gone to heavier things. Some people did get expelled from our school for having drugs there, but what else can be done by the adults? I'm just making sure I stay out of it all. I'll help them out of it as much as I can, but I won't let them pull me down.
  5. Hope you weren't upset with me criticizing your friends.
  6. Sprinksy, you said in Muse's blog, "Thats really cool. I admire those who can create things like that. I'll admit I have artistic talent, but I don't create - I imitate. I'd love to be able to just do things like that, to express myself and my thoughts like you have in that picture." Creating comes with time. Even what appears to some as creation has a large indebtedness to something or someone else. Most creative efforts have their roots in something else. Don't fret.
  7. I'm doing better than my friend at least! There is one bit in the play where we fight and she lunges at me and 2 guys hold her back, only they don't know their own strength and we have to redo that bit so often that her arms end up RED and bruised!
  8. That's ok it took a while to respond. I'm glad you're feeling better. Should you be doing that kind of rough play for the drama with your condition? Don't get hurt now.
  9. Sheesh I'm not very good with replying promptly to peoples messages on my page! Sorry! . It's a little late to mention that I'm back because I've been back from Canberra for about a week!! I'm doing a lot better than I was, espeically seeing as our drama play gets a little violent in parts (I get pushed/thrown to the ground, dragged along, attacked - all sorts of things! All in the name of art I suppose ) but my knees are holding up surprisingly well! For some reason I've still got this horrid cough thats stayed from when I got sick, but apart from that I'm good . I hope you're doing well and I promise I won't take so long to reply in the future, without a good reason anywho!!
  10. Hey Sprinksy. Been busy with school? Hope you're feeling better.
