A job hook-up is good; money is what seems to make the world go 'round at the moment...I know because I don't have any!
I might have a job hook up, but thats about it, whatever happens happens though. I'm not too worried about it at the moment.
It sounds like a tough situation! Are there good work and housing prospects in your area...or university so that you could get university housing? I guess I've always prefered to stay in an area where I know the layout; and in the event I need some assistance. I don't know much about vegas...seems like it might be a hard place to get a start. What do your friends do? Could they set you up with a few weeks room and board and know of some job prospects?
I've talked to them, I don't actually have any place to stay. It can't be any worse then being here, that much is true, and there is no way I will settle down around here, no point in going from one abusive residence to another and there's not much other option in the area, sadly. My only worry is food, as it stands I have no idea how I will eat.
Reminds me of when I was dating my husband, he came over one night with a bag of laundry and 14 dollars, our date consisted of doing laundry and a 35 cent donut. After that he announced that he was moving to Georgia to open a coffee house, don't wait for him and he didn't know if he was coming back... Now me, I never drive more than 2 hours away without 500 bucks in my pocket and hotel reservations... Sounds like a wild idea though; have you called your friends?
lol! So I made the decision today to finally start saving money up to up and leave to vegas (not the strip), it shouldn't take too long, if my math is right I need about 120 bucks in gas to get there. I have no idea what I'm going to do once I get there but, I know people there so I have that and honestly I'm happiest on the move.

same here, I hardly drink anymore these days when I do I get really sick the next day and I can never get any sleep so I'm walking around dizzy and annoyed lol.
