  1. I saw your comment on The Last Lecture two days ago, and I've been trying to find something good to say about the book. You really got me speechless, I didn't know what to say. I mean I know he's your age and and he's almost working in the same profession as you are, I just never...connected you to him in this way. Then you said how you fear pancreatic cancer, and I just thought: 'Damn! I shouldn't have talked about this book in the first place'. I'm sorry if it made you feel...uncomfortable (if that's the right word to use here) I didn't mean it this way really. It's still a good read. I was just hoping you'd read it as a book...not an autobiography of someone whom you so closely relate to. I know it's easier said than done, but I hope it doesn't affect you.
Thanks for the other comment too. It's great being a senior in college indeed. It can be a bit nerve-wracking too...just to think of the how well I need to do in exams so that I graduate with the total grade I need to continue my post-graduate studies.
I'm glad you like the song
I'll reply to your emails in the weekend (it starts tomorrow ). I just got the flu, and have to finish Macbeth for tomorrow's drama lecture. I'll get to it tomorrow when I'm home from college
  2. Hi there. I commented on your blog before the current one. Not sure if you would notice. Oh I know you must really be busy with school, but I did send you two emails finishing up The Oval Portrait. Don't worry about responding. School is more important.
  3. I see. We do it for the entire year. I guess we are professional.
  4. It's very different actually. You guys are professional!! lol
We basically just buy lots of tomatos. Cut them into halfs and then put it in the jug blender to mash it. Then when it's done there, we put it on the cooker and let it boil. Then when the its water evaporates and it becomes thick, we take it off the cooker, and let it cool down. Then we either bag it in kitchen bags or in jars, and we put it in the fridge. It tastes great when we do a tomato soup or when we use it in any kind of cooking.
  5. You make tomato puree too? That's great. Let me know if you do it differently.
  6. We still have till friday actually. But you know, Ramadan wasn't a vacation really. See, Ramadan started before my summer vacation ended, so almost half of it was already a vacation. But then we started college as you know (although we didn't really take anything). But yeah, Ramadan isn't a vacation, starting next year it'll all start in August, and we will spend it all in the summer!! The official holiday starts tomorrow, it's the Feast holiday (Eid-Ul-Fitr), that lasts for four days. I'm going out of town with my family, but after that I'll be back for good It was a great month, I wish it lasted a bit longer!
I'll check the pics right now My mom LOVES making tons of tomato puree! lol
  7. No I haven't posted them yet. I keep forgetting to upload them into photobucket. I will shortly. I posted some pictures of a family tradition, making tomato puree, in my last blog. You might find that interesting. Glad to have you back. Hope your holidays went well, or are they still going on?
  8. Hi Virgil Glad to see you posting on my page again, you got me thinking you forgot I have one lol j/k
Hey btw...did you post any pics of your vacation? It's been a while since I came here, but last time I checked your blog you didn't have any pics there.
