  1. Alas there are no vineyards in Scotland. It is too damp and cold I imagine. But it is famous for its beautiful scenery, for bagpipe music (groan!) and for very friendly people.
I have just finished reading 'Purge' by Sofi Oksanen (she is a Finnish-Estonian novelist). Quite an interesting novelbut not a particularly easy read. Before that I read all three of the 'Milennium' trilogy novels by Stieg Larsson - if you like Grisham you will love these I'm sure.
  2. I never had any friend from Scotland before. I heard its famous for its vineyards? I hope I heard right.
Its unusually cold here too. I'm listening to Pink Floyd's 'Terminal Frost' and overlooking the window is thick fog !
I've read Anna Karenina at the end of 2006. Especially loved the romance between Levin and Kitty. Do tell me what are you reading?
  3. I am from the North West corner of Scotland.
We are just getting over a period of heavy snowfall - in fact today is the first day when there has been no snow or frost for almost 6 weeks. But of course the surrounding countryside looks all the more beautiful under a white cover.
I'm spending a lazy hour on here catching up on my reading.
I see you have 'War and Peace' as a favourite - have you read 'Anna Karenina'? That is also a wonderful novel (some cite it as the best ever written).
  4. Great to know you have friends from my homeland. Where are you from? and Whats up now?
  5. I'm well thank you for asking.
I see you are from Islamabad. I have a good friend on here also from Pakistan ('Thinking'). Very pleased to meet you.
  6. Howsie hillwalker?
