There was crazy beach erosion but we were spared of the horror that happened in other areas. I am on Eastern Long Island and which is less intense as all the force concentrated to the west where the land squeezed the water causing the deadly surges. It's truly a miracle and I'm counting my blessings!

Qim, thanks for thinking of me. Thankfully it didn't affect my area. Strong winds but almost no rain. But its really bad for the rest of NY. Lights out in half of the city. Never saw anything like it.
