  1. Aunt Shecky has allowed me to put out one of her quizes of the week. Oh do give it a try: http://www.online-literature.com/for...t=38480&page=5, post #70. It's a lot of fun.
  2. Yes she's busy cooking as we speak I bet. Christmas Eve is traditionally sea food: shrimp, calamari, baccala (which is a salted cod fish: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baccala). Not sure about tomorrow. Might be lasagna or raviloi in meat sauce. Someething with a meat suace.
  3. Same to you Virgil, and to your family. I was wondering if your mom would cook for Christmas and what it would be- Ham or some kind of pasta dish with the tomatoes you put up this year?
  4. Merry Christmas Mom-H .and to your wwhole family as well.
  5. Not yet, Virgil. I have one last project and then a handfull of test. I'm hoping to be able to look at it next Wednesday and Thrusday. I bet I change my list of books to read next once I've finished it.
  6. Hi Mom-H. Have you had a chance to look at my thesis yet or are you too busy?
  7. Max is the boy in the picture. He is a wild thing. That little stinker! He's always into something and he just cracks me up.
  8. Oh that's great. I really loved that book. I can't recall a single other childhood book I had, but that one sticks in my mind. Is Max the one with the sunglasses in your profile? Does Max think theat he will go on some wild adventure in the middle of the night? I kept thinking that as a child. That's sweet. Thanks for telling me that. It brought a smile to my face.
  9. I was just looking at the children's lit illustrations thread and I saw that you posted pictures from your favorite childhood book Where the Wild Things Are. Well, I just wanted to tell you that that is my youngest son’s favorite book. His name is Max like the boy in the book and the boat has his name on it. That’s very cool to him.
  10. Oh thanks. Just looked it up. Pretty.
