Sometimes I have to walk out into the fields on foggy nights…alone. Actually, it’s better now that we have Jojo. I think I’ll hold on until February. I wish about ten people would vote for The Teacher’s Funeral. It’s such a funny book!
It's not scary. I wouldn't even call it a thriller. It's reaally a comic novel, at least the first one of the trilogy. Very funny in spots. It's a spoof of detective fiction, though it's actually quite literary.
Thanks Virgil, but I don’t do well with thrillers. I get scared very easily. I don’t watch thrillers and I don’t read them. I’m a big chicken, I can’t help it.
Still haven't found a good book? This month's book forum read is fun. Wanna join in?
When do you start scool again? Mid January? Maybe some short stories might be a change of pace for a read. They're more compact and you can do one in a couple of hours usually.
Everything is fine. I just worry I haven't been able to find a good book to read and that leaves my mind idle. I always get antsy when I’m Idle. The good side is that I’ve gotten a lot done around the house! Mason is the same, which isn’t BAD. He runs a fever two to four times a week and wears down easily. He feels crummy too often for a little boy and it is effecting his spirits. We have an appointment with an infectious disease specialists at children’s later this month. I hope he finds what is wrong. I’m sure it goes back to the tick fever he had in August. It may just take a long, long time to fully recover. It’s real nice of you to ask.
Everything ok Mom-H? I saw your post that you were worried. How is Mason doing?
Happy New Year Mom-H, and to your family as well. I leave you with a present: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=eG3afAIi6IQ. Now I'm not sure I like the back beat they put to it, but the video is fabulous.
I've never even heard of hog jowl. They sell black eyed peas in the supermarket, though i don't think I've ever eaten any. Actually our New Year's eve tradition, which is spent at my mother-in-law's, is Chinese food. This year we will not follow tradition though. My wife is going to make pulled pork and her brother will make vegetarian chili. Not sure if my mother-in-law is making anything. Happy New Year to you too. Hope you had a nice Christmas. I see you've haven't been on lit net much lately. Nice to have the children at home, I bet. Oh how is Mason doing?
Happy New Year, Virgil! Do you have hog jowl and black eyed peas in the north? It’s a tradition down here.
