    Peace be on all.
Hazrat Promised Messiah Mahdi (on whom be peace) said about THE IMPORTANCE OF JALSA SALANA

"Do not consider Jalsa Salana as an ordinary convention. This convention emerged solely by the help of Allah and His command. Allah has set the cornerstone of this blessed event with His own hands and prepared the nations for this purpose, who will enter in this Jamaat in the near future. (Announcement, December 1893)

  2. Silk Road

by , 06-01-2015 at 03:41 PM (Memories of the 28th Century)
I never paid any attention to Silk Road, when it was in business, because I had no interest, but I find the life sentence for Ross Ulbricht to be absurd. Silk Road was an instrument for facilitating trade.

The charges were: “narcotics trafficking; distribution of narcotics by means of the Internet; narcotics trafficking conspiracy; continuing criminal enterprise; conspiracy to aid and abet computer hacking; conspiracy to traffic in fraudulent identity documents; and money laundering ...

Of course this was completely unplanned. Thursday, May 14th (I date it for posterity’s sake) after dinner at about half past six Matthew

  5. Pivotal Events in History

by , 05-16-2015 at 03:31 PM (Memories of the 28th Century)
I was thinking about a piece of fiction that I’m writing; it is built around a somewhat mysterious event that led to great changes in the world. It was a simple murder by an unknown attacker that led to religious persecutions, the Inquisition, and great political changes in Europe. This got me to thinking about other pivotal events in history, so I leaned back and started thinking. I made a list of a dozen or so, but there must be more. I searched online, and found a few similar lists, but most ...
