    As one person put it: "If you can’t tell what it is then you probably shouldn’t eat it." We were discussing Chinese food at the time, but I think that rule fits any cuisine; although there have been enough examples of Chinese restaurants being shutdown for serving things that are not generally considered edible that they are good examples

    Some people were commenting on the size of the military budget of the United States of America. I simply agreed that it is rather large, but I thought a little more about it and realized that the more than six hundred billion was less than $2000 per capita, and that’s not all that much, but it’s still more than I can afford.     Today's bin day (well it should be anyway. It hasn't happened yet. I plan to be in bed when it happens so as not to get sad. It's also normal to be sad when you're Christmas tree gets taken away right?)

    Has it become normal and ordinary for people who are demonstrably irrational or delusional or suffering from other types of mental illness to be treated as if they were sane?
