  1. What books can do to you!?

by , 09-27-2015 at 10:23 AM (day in a life)
I am taking a course called literature and medicine, the professors have a literary background but they teach a course similar to this one for medical students too and now they are bringing this to us MA literature students. I really enjoy the class and I find the whole thing very, very interesting. But some of the books I have been reading have a let's say difficult impact on me. One is by an author from the ice and is about the time her husband was diagnosed and died from a brain tumour. She describes ...

by , 09-25-2015 at 06:51 PM (Memories of the 28th Century)
It probably is a mistake for me to write this, but I had to start it.
There is much too much in this matter for me to thoroughly cover it in a blog post. A three hundred page book would be a better start.

The Economist had an article this week (link below) that reinforces what most people have long known; i.e., that females are still the dominant sex among humans. I realize that many people mouth the converse of that, but woman have always controlled everything ...

I have not counted all the words in every language, so I don’t know for sure, but I have read things to that effect enough time that I have come to believe it. Even with all those words, it is possible that some have been missed, words that should be in the language but are not.

  4. It's Not so Secret Now

by , 09-22-2015 at 01:05 AM (Barmy Blue's Bland Blog)
So. Lastly. What's this about guitar?
Well. I got it about five years ago when I was working in mum's office and got depressed and rather put off of work ever since. So to cheer myself up, since I had my own money at the time, I decided to use it as a motivation to work harder because I was lagging a bit. "If you're cheerful (or at least not depressed and gloomy) and actually put in some effort then we'll go and buy the guitar you desired on the Argos website this weekend" was my ...

  5. You Went to a Wedding?

by , 09-22-2015 at 01:03 AM (Barmy Blue's Bland Blog)
Kind of bored. Had a read through of my last blogs. Decided to check in.
Lot of stuff has happened I guess. I'll try not to ramble too much.
    Most prominent events since Christmas:
I went to a wedding in June
I've been teaching myself guitar for about 3 months or so but it's a secret

There were probably other things too.
So hang on. What's this about a wedding and a guitar? Why didn't you tell us sooner?
Well. I couldn't be bothered and in ...
