    The fasting month of Ramadhan ended and Eid was observed with thankfulness to Allah. There are three types of Eids; Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha and Eid of Friday. Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him) has declared Friday as Eid too.

    Generally, it is thought that Eid after Ramadhan is the day of celebration and thankfulness after Ramadhan only. But there are deep lessons which a faithful have to keep in mind. Eid days are mile stones.

    Here in Massachusetts the Great and General Court passed and the governor signed into law a law that will permit three ďresort-casinosĒ in the Commonwealth. I donít think much of casino gambling at all. I regard casinos as businesses designed to take money from individuals and fill the pockets of the casino owners, much like insurance companies. I doubt that I will ever visit any of those casinos, if they will be built, but the small, limited number of casinos annoys me. In effect the State government ...

    I recently saw posters looking for canvassers to collect money for Clean Water Action. I suspect that this is a scam, because in the U.S.A. surface water is cleaner now than it was before Europeans started to settle here. There are a few particular places where the water is polluted, but just fifty years ago much of the surface water was polluted. I still wouldnít drink from most streams, but thatís because I know what giardia is, and there are problems around farms and after rain storms, but there ...

    I feel like a human pincushion. Well. Felt like one. Now I'm an achy former human pin cushion.
    I had a blood test today.
    I wrote about going to the doctor and stuff a couple of weeks ago but decided to remove it. I'm not going to rewrite it. Yesterday I saw a female doctor. Turns out I didn't need to go to all that trouble since she just referred me for blood tests to start with, mainly to make sure my thyroid function is okay, because if it weren't it could indicate polycystic ovaries. ...
