congrats!!!!!!
See, math is not as hard as you think. What's finite mathematics? I don't recall anything named that. I forget what we called senior math in high school. You know that may be the last math course you ever take in your life.
Way to go!!!
woohoo! weldone! Andya!
Oh no problem Andy. It was wonderful! And Mom-H is right. I didn't imagine your voice as older like that. You have grown into a wonderful young lady. Oh and when the camera went sideways, I was afraid you gown would flip over. You did a wonderful job!! Congratulations!
Real nice speech. Fine job.
Great job. I really enjoyed that. Your voice sounds older than you are. (sideways )
Funny. Did you go through with your plan on Thursday?
! Andave! You're so naughty!
ask Joe to be the guy! lol.
Lord Peter. You should have said he was Lady Di's nephew.
Too funny!
That's a good one. If you really want to play this up, find a guy that resembles this Peter and have him meet you at school and introduce him to these people.
Congrats, Andya... I'm pretty sure you're going to blow everybody away... =)
Actually I am slated to give a presentation to a huge audience of my peers across from across the country on June 10th. This is big, perhaps the height of my career. I guess I will evetually have a blog on it. I am no longer nervous when i give a presentation. Lately I've been in front of a audience at least twice a month. But this on June 10th is giving me butterfiles.
Good luck with the memorizing part:lol: That never was my strong suite, and I'm terrified of public speaking. You will do fine I'm certain, and congratulations on not only making it through your senior year, but also for being chosen to speak. It is quite an honor for you as well as your classmates who will get to hear a wonderful speech. Much Love, Meg
Well done. I still expect a book dedicated to me someday. Or Virgil.
Wow, very good Andy. May I make one suggestion. Flip the last two sentences. Instead of : We are indeed young, but God is yet working in us. Maybe we‘ll never stand above the rest of the people, but God has given us talents and passions, and at the least we promise to use those for His glory! I think this would be a better punch to end it with: Maybe we‘ll never stand above the rest of the people, but God has given us talents and passions, and at the least we promise to use those for His glory! We are indeed young, but God is yet working in us. Just a suggestion. It's good either way. Good luck.
...now to memorize it before the 23rd....
thanks Virgil, IJustMadeThatUp, and Becca. Virg yes, she is a good singer . Both her and her sister were most impressive in Into the Woods; they did so very well! Bec - there's a wall photo on my facebook
