glad to hear all is ok!!!
Just read this, what a great twist at the end. You two are cute.
I had an episode of vertigo about 2 years ago. For a month I was getting dizzy spells, then they just stopped. Have you noticed anything that brings it on?
Go get it looked at Kilt. It may be an infection in your inner ear. I've had them a few times after a more typical ear infection. They never seem to be painful to me. If it is within the deeper part of your ear it would explain the continued dizzyness. Another suggestion is it might just be mild dehydration. I don't know how warm it is for you at the moment, but not drinking enough water can cause this type of trouble when you stand. Either way, good luck with the Doctor. I hope that all is well, and that it isn't anything too serious. Take Care, Meg
maybe it's just this http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...ryId=103463398 I'll hope so!
Kilt, have it checked out. Does it come at a particular time in the day? Does it last a set amount? It certainly can be diabetes if it seems to come at a similar time in the day, or a specific time lapse from when you last ate. People with diabetes have a problem controling sugar level, both from getting high and getting low. Think of it this way: Sugar fluctualtion is roughly sinusoidal. Non diabetics have a shallow peaks on the curve and a stretched out cycle. Diabetics have a spikey sinusoidal curve, where the amplitudes on both the high and low range far from the mean. So diabetics get both the effects of high and low sugar. Let them check your sugar level when you go to the doc. But let's hope it's not.
I would agree with that Mom-H. Whenever I go to Brooklyn, and I still go to the old neighborhood to visit friends and go to my barber (who I've been going to for like thirty years) it does feel strange. Of course that's a far less dramatic change from what Kilt experienced.
I read The Whipping Boy to the boys last night. When the whipping boy returned home to learn that he had changed and grown so much that it was no longer home I thought of you. I suppose this is something that happens to some degree to us all. This area is still my home, but when visit my mother's house I'm not home anymore.
it's a heavy realization, isn't it? home is where the heart is .

You know the same thing dawned on my parents, who were immigrants from Italy, after a trip to Italy where they essentially felt uncomfortable with their own family. Since I was three years old when we immigrated, so my whole consciousness is essentially American, I completely understand based on my parents. Mom-H, I think the going back is a catharsis that must happen. One tends to hold idealized views of a place, and the coming face to face where the reality doesn't meet the idealization becomes a moment of epiphany.
That's a big statement. Funny that you had to go back to really realize it. It's good to be home.
all rigghhttt, good for you. Gonna change your screen name?
