Thanks Dark, and Qi
This is a beautiful reflection of the love so freely given to us.
Short but beautiful.
Thank you for your reply Muhammad. I like your name by the way, you are named after our beloved Prophet, peace be upon him. To explain this blog post there are two things to say. One is it comes from a bit of history, an interaction with a person who has skewed views of others. So in response I am affirming neutrality, this is the maning of saying I'm nothing to you and you are nothing to me. When people can get involved in unhealthy attachments with others, in this case me, I replied to the effect that we are nothing to each other. The second part is this' relation to the Prajna Paramitam Hrdaya Sutra from Buddhism, or the Heart of Wisdom Sutra. I won't quote the whole thing but it goes over some simiar notions. It isn't completely separate from other religions either. For example some mystics have said the everything and the nothing are one. That is, they make up a unity, just as light and dark, good and bad, and existence and non-existence. Of course the truth can't be understood merely with logic, and it requires feeling to experience the real as well. The highest truth is a feeling which surpasses and fulfills logic in complete complement. That is, it is that every pair of opposites is really a unity. Nature works this way and always fills vacuums. This is why if you give away all your possessions, or if you give help, etc., it comes back to you. Also it means that this whole universe, which seems empty, is merely one side of the face of God. In the infinite existence which is God, there is one single point within which it appears there is no God. That point is this universe. But in regards to this person, I am merely affirming neutrality. If I affirm neutrality and then I am met with hostility and anger, I have done my best to prevent it and I am not responsible. It's a strange way of interacting to try to insult and destroy others, but I am dealing with it the best I can...
it was realy impressive and beautiful piece of writing. i want to say that if we realy comes out of logic and secular thoughts. Religion is the way which gives us the meaning of life. It discusses that there is life after this life and we are strictly answerable of all we have done in this life. I do not know about all the religions but Christianity and Islam gives this thought. iIthink life would be enjoyable when we should have belief that there is an other life and our this life is not meaningless
Thanks, Hope.
Thanks so much! :)
Oh Nikolai .. this is my first time checking out the blogs side I like the letter .. Maybe sometime we can play chess online
I like this poem alot Its' so sweet Nikolai Lucky the girl who holds your heart.. and lucky her for such a pure love ! Just as Sophocles once said : "One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: That word is love." - Sophocles
Nice poem Nic. This made me think of the Beatles' "Let It Be." When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness She is standing right in front of me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be. Whisper words of wisdom, let it be. Enjoy the youtube song clip: http://www.youtube.com/user/virgil015#p/f/6/YBPFvp750sc. Certainly one of my favorite beatles songs, and probably my favorite McCarthy song.
Thanks!
Ahh, you are a gem.
Thanks, Qi :) Peace...

Nice letter Nik. You certainly keep busy. You have some cool hobbies.
Nik -- maybe this says more about me than it does about your work, but I really enjoy your short, meditative poems. . . .this one included. Keep 'em comin'. . .
I think it already has.
when? when will this happen...
captivating and provoking
