recap of the last twenty-odd hours

Got a call from my boss telling me I had two days off, decided to totally change my plans and drive three hours southwest and visit Kevvy. Almost spun out on I-70 (thanks to no traction control/a windshield completely opaque from the mag-chloride) truck almost died on Berthoud pass because I'm too stupid/lazy/impatient to get out and advance the timing a degree so I might break 20 mph. I got to Granby okay. So, Kevvy and I started on an old Mickey's forty that had been in my truck and frozen/thawed at least four times while we waited for beer. Beer arrived, a hotsauce bottle cap was used for beer pong along with the eight cups scavenged from around kevvy's house, two games later we decided to go play on the playground. Between a trip to the roof of the elementary school, snagging a piece of important looking pipe, falling off numerous things, losing a copy of '1984,' my phone and kevin crapping in a tire swing, all in all not bad night. Throw in there that the temperature hovered somewhere between 0 and -5 the whole time, but damn it was fun! Now I'm so freaking sore from skiing I don't even want to get up to eat something. Another three hour trip through the middle of nowhere in the dark somewhere I've never been in a snowstorm, and here I am!
