Natures Heartbeat

Natures Heartbeat

Still waters hesitate, deep below begins churning
just as nature's heart beat is burning
a rising pulse in each bolt of thunder
tension in the air soon before skies turn asunder
it is the quaking darkness ever yearning

Only pure Chaos marks another turning
for the beauty of Earth's true power worth enduring
winds heave to conquer and plunder
still waters hesitate

Waves begin rocking, icy licks spurning
wild winter passions once more returning
snowy arms reaching up to pull everything under
terrifying and yet so full of wonder
unleashing its great conjuring
still waters hesitate

Missed this one--I need to pay attention--you post way too fast for this old curmudegeon. Like the visions of Mother Nature at her finest--imagined Artic storms and ships at sea then Moby Dick appeared and I figured I'ld stop there.

Hehe, yes that is the jist of it. This one was intended to be about a real good raging storm.
