A very very real nightmare has passed. When my father died in 2001 it was almost two years before I broke down in tears.

It has only taken five minutes for my mother. I got the news 20 mins ago. I had so long feared a sigh of relief and a burden lifted.

Instead I feel a very very strange sorrow I never expected.

I must go now I cannot type more.
