Yay My Snake Ate!

One of the concerns I first had about Loki was the fact that its past owners use to give the snake frozen mice, as I myself was accustomed to giving my snake live feed, and prefer just getting a live mouse about once a weak to give to the snake, rather than having to keep a bunch of dead frozen mice in the freezer to give to the snake, so I was not sure how well the snake would adapt to being fed upon live feed.
I had thought and hoped that being reptiles it would simply act out upon its natural instincts and there would be no difficulties. So today I decided to try him with his first live mouse since its past owners said it had been a couple of weeks since they fed him.
King snakes (which my previous snake was) are also a lot more aggressive predators than Corn snakes are, because in the wild King snakes are cannibalistic and prey upon rattle snakes.
While Corn snakes in the wild eat mostly small mammals and small reptiles, and birds, so they are a bit more passive hunters.
And becasue it has been a while sense the snake I got two mice for him, and becasue he was accustomed to frozen mice, and becasue Corn snakes are not as aggressive hunters, my reptile guys said to give the snake one mouse at a time, and if he does not eat the first mouse within 15 minutes to take it out and kill it myself than feed it to the snake dead.
Now clearly I do not have any sort of moral qualms about feeding mice to my snake, I myself am not a vegetarian, and I understand how nature works, and do not think there is anything wrong with living creatures feeding upon other living creatures as designed by nature. But to say the least the idea of having to kill the mouse myself was less than thrilling. Evey fibre of my being would resist against the notion and I just don't know if I would be physcial able to do such a thing.
Thus to say the least I was quite ecstatic when Loki did his thing and proved himself quite able and willing to act out upon his instincts and fend for himself as it were and without any trouble or problems fed upon the first live mouse I fed to him.
It looks like he will take to live feed without any trouble or hassle.
