Halls of the Dark Muse

As I am sure you all know by now from the various previous stories I have posted about my cats, all of my cats are out door cats because they are all feral, so at night I lock them in the garage.

My cat Zeo has particularly strong objections to being locked in at night, and he will usually never come in voluntarily. His preferred place to sleep is usually on the roof of the porch over the front door. The only times he will come in willingly is usually if it is really windy out or if it is raining.

So I went out into the garage earlier this evening to get something from the out door refrigerator and I happened to notice Zeo was just sitting in the garage, and I checked my watch to see what time it was and noticed it was starting to get late so I contemplated if I should just close him for the night when I had the opportunity to do so.

Well the very 2nd the thought to close the garage door entered in my head, all of the sudden Zeo takes off running and ducks out beneath the opening in the garage door.

And well to say the least that Zeo is not the kind of cat that is typically given to sudden bursts of movement, he is not skittish or high strong, and in fact is usually monumentally lazy, extremely laid back and generally cannot be bothered to move for anything.

There is no doubt that he knew exactly what I was planning.
