Another bell that looks like an acorn. I'm hoping things will change tomorrow. I didn't actually notice when I bought it, because I was looking at the pretty design, it says that the chocolates get bigger the nearer you get to Christmas. So that's an interesting twist. Hopefully it'll be a different design to report otherwise this whole thing is going to get pretty stale.

The dog got a stripy twisty bone just like before but this one was green. Now she's associating my coming downstairs ...

In other news. Still not making cards yet. Blanket needs another 10 patches made to even it out. Custard went down very well. Found some great looking cookie recipes online. If I have time I might bake up a storm for Christmas. Probably won't though. Don't exactly have any decorations up yet except for those tissue balls I made. It's gold tissue paper. It's shiny. ...

I got something that looked like an acorn but I finally figured out it's a bell.
I sure chose a crummy calendar this year. The chocolates are crudely designed with minimal effort and the numbers go in ascending order so I don't have the joy of hunting out the right day. Chocolate's nice though. That's all that really matters in the end. It's kind of fun to guess what the minimalist shapes are and the dog's calendar is randomly spaced so I get to hunt for the right day on hers.

It was either that or Double Advent. I decided against it because I found it a little confusing. I decided to get an advent calendar this year. I know I'm too old for it but I kind of missed the excitement of opening it and blogging my findings. I can't promise a daily update. I'd feel like I'm hogging the blog page. We'll see how we go.
