Mum went to the funeral, she even stayed for the wake. She met some old friends there. I don't exactly like funerals. They're depressing. I don't like wakes either. They're mainly full of strangers with a handful of people I do know. That can also be depressing.

I am quite happy. I've done all my shopping now. I got almost everything I wanted. The only thing I couldn't get was a Christmas jumper for me but I don't mind that. I got a heavy black and white jumper with reindeer antlers on. It's quite bulky but I asked mum about what kind she preferred before we went. She told me that the thinner jumpers I got her for work were okay for work but too thin for home at the moment. I'm pretty confident this jumper should go down well. When we got home I tried it ...
