How hard can it be to make a lemon meringue pie?
As it turns out it's very hard. This is my third attempt. First I used a premade short crust pastry, the same one I used for my pumpkin pie. That turned out pretty well I guess.
However, I didn't think it worked to so well with my lemon meringue.

I made quite a few mistakes first time round.
I forgot to grease the pie dish. Never a good thing to do....or not do in this case.

Anyone going back through my blog might notice some minor entries missing or altered. Fear not. I decided to do a little tidying. I've wondered if my blog takes up too much space in cyberspace and thought a little cleaning would be good for me. So far I've just deleted a few things regarding my novel. Yuki's being pampered. She's such a good girl.

Mum took her in yesterday. There were no other animals. I'm told she wanted to chase the vet's cat. When it was time for her to go in mum had to drag her in. We've been wondering about her ears and mouth lately. She was worried Yui might have got grass seeds in her ear the night before and she's been rubbing her face on the carpet a lot lately. We can't see anything there but we think it's just some whiskers growing out.

Last month I was watching Gunslinger Girl. Now I'm watching Saikano. I seem to have strange tastes. On the subject of taste; I don't like vegetables. They're pretty boring. They rot quickly.
