    Maybe it's just in this area, but it seems like the standards for ethics and honesty have changed in the last few years. While it is easy to point at Trump as the paragon of these new standards, he isn't the only one, but no one has produced such a wide range of new ethical standards.     Recently, I have encountered many examples of people acting in ways that they should have learned better about in kindergarten. There are many basics about dealing in a world where you are not the only; person that many people learn at a young age, but I have been encountering people who don’t even know how to deal with a line, and some people who never learned that one does nor block exits, stairs, etc. And today, there was one person who walked up behind me and grabbed my shoulders.     Decades ago, we learned about grade inflation in schools and colleges. Today we are having another kind of inflation; Journalism is inflating everything into a crisis. And it isn’t just journalism; the government is doing the same thing. Yesterday I got an emergency notification on my phone that there was a flash flood watch. There was a thunderstorm later, but I was nowhere near any watercourse that flooded.
