So my first thought is, Oh My God what is happening. And in a panic of half-sleep and with my brain not yet awake I jump out of bed without thinking of putting on my glasses or turning on any lights and start running out of my
I went back again today, because tomorrow is the last day and last time, I did not get to finish looking because my need for food began to out weigh my "need" for books.
So here is the second take:
The Ox-Bow Incident by Walter Van Tilburg Clark
Pudd'nhead Wilson by Mark Twain
The Cruise of the Dazzler by Jack London
Snow by Orhand Pamuk
The Moon and the Sixpense by W. Somerset Maugham
Just what I need.......more books, of which I have no space for. But one of the local libraries around here has this annual book give away with boxes and boxes of free books.

Embers by Sandor Marai
The Letters of Abelard and Heloise
The Human Stain by Philip Roth
Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell
The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova
The Naked and The Dead by Norman Mailer
