  1. Sitting Pretty

Today is picture day for our new church directory...Olan Mills. I always feel so unnatural...'turn this way, no, a little more that way, leave your shoulders there but turn your head this way, now tilt your chin, now without moving that pose raise your hands above your head and clap, lower them gently to your lap, breathe in, exhale through your mouth, pursing your lips just so, oh nooooo, you moved!!! We'll have to start all over. hahaha

  2. Butterbeer

Has anyone ever tried any of the foods from Harry Potter? This sounds soooo good and it's going to be c-c-c-cold tonight, 30 maybe, possible snow.

  4. My Daddy

I hope it's okay to share this here but my father passed away yesterday. He was such a good man and I hope to share a few little stories about him soon. I've been thinking about his googly eyes and crying. Sometimes if he didn't quite know what to say or if something was a little risque or funny, he would raise his eyebrows and roll his eyes back and forth. It always made me laugh. I'm going to miss you Daddy.

  5. Wake up, wake up.

Coming out of a deep sleep, I felt his hand on my hip, gently shaking me. I opened my eyes and turned toward him but I couldn't see him in the dark. Reaching out, I tried to touch him, wondering what he wanted, hoping. But there was nothing. Complete silence. Stillness. No one was there. I sat on the edge of the bed for awhile and though it was just past 4:30 a.m., decided to get up. Naturally, I ended up at the computer and there I read about my night visitor. He had certainly made his rounds this ...
