  1. a while since I've blogged

    http://blogs.nea.org/ednotes/2008/04...rid.html#links

Here is a really cool article about some inner city at risk high school kids who build this high performance sports car that goes 0-60 in less than five seconds and gets 50 miles per gallon. I don’t understand why some high school kids can do this and some car companies can’t.

I’ve been sick, my husband has been ...

  2. also for lily

I thought I would tell my most embarrassing moment to go along with lily and fifth, but it’s hard to narrow it down. I’m thinking about making a short list, but I’m afraid it will sound like my clothes fly off all the time.

I was doing the jitter bug at my high school prom. Let’s just say that if you are a busty girl in a strapless dress don’t try to go around the world.

  3. Letter to the editor

As I have mentioned, meth is a problem in my area. I suppose it is everywhere, but statistically it really is a big deal here. 1. One book that changed your life: The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. I don’t know what I would have done without it.

    2. One book that you’ve read more than once: The Grapes of Wrath or The Good Earth - I don’t know which I’ve read more.

    3. One book you’d want on a desert island: I must say the Bible. I get more from it every time I read it. I don’t know what else would offer as much personal benefit or entertainment. I really do appreciate redemption.

  5. one for the team

I have very little to blog about, but since team litnet is trying to set a record here is my contribution.

Since my last blog my mood has improved, but it was a slow process. I suppose the only big deal, which may not seem like such a big deal, is that I passed my Praxis 1 last week. Well, I have my grade for two of the three parts. I did very well on the first two parts and I should know something about the essay portion in a week or two.

I think the big push ...
