  1. My Car Hates Me

    At the risk of sounding repetitive {polite term for boring, lol}, yes it is cold in The Prairies. And, as a result of how cold it gets, a good car owner knows that having a Block Heater for that car is a must. The Block Heater cord (which is quite short for obvious reasons) gets plugged into the nearest extension cord and the electricity keeps that block heater toasty till the next time one goes to use the car.

    When one goes to use the car, one starts it, then UNPLUGS the block

  2. Valentines and Colds...

    My hubby and I fought so we didn't have much of a Valentine's Day.

    Maybe its overrated ... **scratches head**

  5. The Young Man

    He was a quiet, studious young man; clean cut, very polite, very nice looking. I used to say hello to him while shopping at a particular store where he was employed.

    I used to ask him about how his grades were and such, because that was a topic that he enjoyed talking about -- school, his favorite subjects and his thoughts.
